remember in RE3 when they drop the Nemesis from the sky and at some point you're running down the hallway and he crashes through the wall....man I shit my pants. twice.

Haha I was like ten or so when I first played RE3 (lawl last year right? joke) and when Nemesis comes through the western hlals window I was like HOLY SHIT didn't know what to do, ran away to the next room. And he comes again!

The first Resident Evil was the best of the genre until they remade it for the Game Cube, at which point, that became of the best of the genre. However, as far as whole series go, Silent Hill is far better than the RE series.

Anybody play the Fatal Frame games? Those have their moments. They're worth checking out.

oh man, the remake was so beautiful. it completely pushed the limits of what the gamecube was capable of doing. it looks better than many ps3/xbox 360 games still! i like how theres that hallway near the lobby where the dog jumps through the window in the original, but in the remake it jumps and just breaks the window a little bit. i was pooping with suspense. BUT THEN IT FUCKING GETS YOU MAN!


btw i hated fatal frame... but that's just me.

there aren't enough "good" horror/survival games nowadays.... but FEAR, while being a first person shooter, made me crap in my pants several times.

My worst moment up until now (I coudln't complete the game cause I was playing on my bro's computer) was when I was in a vent and I saw the little girl side crawling to me. Holy Crap I fired everything I had.

And at some point you just walk in a hallway in an office building with rooms all around you and a corpses flies right in your face when you least expect it. Goddamn, don't play this game drunk at 2 Am with your headphones on.

Oh man, F.E.A.R. was fucking great. Some moments still made me jump on my second play through.

I remember in the demo, you go down a ladder and as you get on it, the little girl appears right in front of you. No big deal, you get down the ladder and continue walking.

But in the full version, when you get down the ladder there's that half decomposed guy waiting for you right in your face. I wasn't expecting this at all and left a little "WOAH!" out.

anyone remember alone in the dark? i had the original one for sega saturn, that was pretty fun but the gameplay was shit and it just did NOT compare to RE.

wow, that guy would be scared of his own shadow, or I have balls of steel. Good thing he never played Aliens Vs Predator 2, he would be pissing in his pants when a bunch of aliens run right to you in a narrow dark corridor.

And yeah, you see the ladder part in Fear, pretty nice heh.

oh yeah, I forgot about the part where you get knocked out by some kind of zombie at the very beginning of Fear, these guys have a way to put you on your nerves right when you start playing. I wasn't expecting that a bit...

now if horror movies could be as good as horror video games...

I thought Eternal Darkness was okay too, espeially the infamous "bathroom" scene. Has anyone played the Clock Tower games?
