Anyone listen to these guys??? Someone here mentioned them a while ago, and I went and picked up the CD "Singles Breaking Up" two days ago. All I can say is ":o

I think that best describes this stuff, I truly can't put it into words! I must collect all their albums as quickly as possible, that is for sure. What I want to know is do these guys play live, or do they just jam these things out in the studio? Maybe I'm just not that technically inclined when it comes to music, but I must wonder if there is any way anyone could play this live note for note. At times, every instrument seems to be playing in a different time signature, yet they keep it very intereting and emotional somehow....Bizarre....

And I now have a new favorite drummer. Wow:o

Whoever mentioned these guys here, thank you!! I am forever indebted...

For an overall amazing song, check out "Don Caballero 2" (yes, that's the song name!)

If you want to hear their extreme technicality, I'd recommend "Slice Where You Live like Pie"

And by technical, I don't mean cold and mechanical, this music has a lot of feeling! But I don't see how anyone can do something that seems this complex yet make it sound so natural

Also, "well Built Road" is a great song! It's one of the straightforward ones though, but it's simply a beautiful song. In fact, I think I'd be willing to say it's prbably the most emotional song I've ever heard (to me at least)

I should have probably mentioned though, there are no vocals...They are definitely not necessary.

Don Cabellero broke up sometime last year, so you probably won't be seeing them live Till Fjalls.

I found out about Marvin Gaye a couple of years ago and he died in 1984 (shot by his dad)!
A lot the music I listen to are done by people who are either dead or stopped playing long time ago.

Tjill Falls: Even though I'm not a big fan of them, you might want to check out Disrhythmia (spellcheck?) I find that hardcore DC fans like them, they are an instrumental rock/fusion/metal/whatever 3 piece
