Is there another program that one can use, a program that's not so big and needs quicktime attached to it, that can be used to put songs on ipods?

winamp

unless you don't like winamp, then there's a lot of free, simple ipod managers you can easily find via google.

itunes takes long to load, but that doesn't bother me TOO much.

the skipping though, that grinds me mighty unpleasantly. (but easily remedied by closing downloading programs while running the basics [firefox, msn].

looove itunes anyway.

I hate iTunes because it refuses to put on the songs that I want. I hate having a limited iPod.

Stupid ass Nano...

What does having an iPod with hardly any memory, have to do with iTunes? As long as your computer has the storage space, you could put on anything you want.

I think it works pretty well. I'm satisfied with using it as my computer media player

No, I mean, I hate having to choose the songs that go on my iPod since it's only 4 gig. I'd much rather the 80 gig so I can have more freedom instead of choosing only like 200 songs.

AND iTunes never puts the songs I want on it. I don't know how to make it cooperate. Fucking Apple.

That's weird. That never happens to me.
If it's on a format that iTunes doesn't recognize, it gets converted to AAC automatically

Winamp's always been a great program, but surprisingly I like the new Windows Media Player. There's gotta be a crack for it somewhere so you can upload the songs to an Ipod.

I still hate Microsoft, though.
