He ruined it by trying to detune it to death. Takes out all the tonal variance that made the riff so angry and dangerous in the first place and makes the riff sound like flatulent Djent garbage. If I play it, I'll definitely use my own playlist.

I like the new doom's OST too, but sometimes I feel like there is too much compression (and really noticeable)... but weirdly enough, it doesn't sound that compressed on that video.

it's cool they tried to stick to metalish stuff for some of the bigger fights....i do miss obvious slayer ripoff tracks tho
