I would say halflife2 also, i've seen some previews of it, looked really good and that.. and i would guess halflife has a more interesting storyline than doom..

though doom3 could be killer as well

Well, Ive got the Doom 3 beta, and its awesome, but Im waiting for HL2 more because I have a free coupon for it from my 9800....

Half Life 2. It look just so much more realistic and life like, plus the amount of different settings and depth the game will have is much more than Doom 3 can offer.

Compare the E3 trailers, and Doom will have nice ambiance and creepiness, but Half Life 2 is much more robust and clever.

I downloaded Doom minutes after it was released on Software Creations BBS...

I'm still looking foward to HL2 more.

Half Life 2 easily! If Doom 3 turns out to be the better game, i'll sever and consume my own manbeef.

I'll probably need a fair few upgrades to be able to play HL2 with any decent looks though. =(

Half-Life 2 definitely but yeah i think i'll have to make a few upgrades to cope, probably only a new graphics card though

I just picked up the latest issue of 'pc zone' and after reading this i've become far more excited about Half Life 2, it sounds fantastic, great story line, jaw dropping graphics...superb A.I...now i just have to buy a pc good enough to run it
