Fuck all of you Euro-douches! Never having the chance to see them domestically, I went all the way to Germany (via Poland) to see those fucking slot-swapping assholes and still managed to miss them! PLAY SOME FUCKING SHOWS IN YOUR MOTHER COUNTRY!

Next time you should drink more and suffer through the mediocre bands then.

The "slot swapping assholes" were the organizers at Ragnarok, not Agalloch. We were not happy about it but there wasn't much we could do. I suppose we could've taken Alan/Primordial's advice and told them to "go fuck themselves" but I doubt it would've changed the situation.

Oh well, the sound was a bit off at Ragnarok anyways. It took them until Bloodbirds to even get the mix right.

No, you're right...we ARE total assholes, just not in the case of the Ragnarok swap. Also the people and organizers were very nice people and as accomodating as they could be. I just think they booked way too many bands for a two-day, single stage fest. Too many bands arriving late, equipment getting lost, etc etc. We even had to borrow cymbals from Skyforger. It was pretty chaotic but interesting nonetheless.

The car ride to Bad Staffelstein with Arkona was fun...

We learned a couple valuable lessons from that gig:
1. ALWAYS listen to Nemtheanga!
2. Never hang around backstage when slot shuffling is going on.
