Dornereich (metal) & Agalloch Tour 2009

Greeting from the land of bloody wine and chivalrouses masquerades.

I empathize with the natives american's followers, and I celebratre the arrival of Agalloch in the old continent, again.

Beyond the Grey, an heathen pride.

stop speaking in tongues Indy ...
if you mean that Aggaloch is in Europe ... make sure they stay there.

Zod turned me back on to Fen a few weeks ago. Glad I gave more than just "The Gales Scream of Loss" a chance. In the context of the flow of the EP, it works much better than a crappy Myspace ripped solo track. Will definitely give The Malediction Fields my undivided attention when it's available.

Erik, I presume you're going. Apparently the UK stop has Fen supporting. Very much looking forward to Fen's next release.

can't afford going anywhere, and especially nowhere outside scandinavia

Agalloch played quite well, although the mix at the beginning of the show ("Dead Winter Days" Clean guitars) was pretty earache-causing. But why didn't you Agalloch guys play an encore at the end of the show instead of Jon throwing his playlist into the audience. I didn't understand that... Well, anyways, the guys at the mixing desk were quite overcharged. It took them too much time to get the mix right. But all in all, the show was damn good, especially "In the shadow of our pale companion" and "Bloodbirds". Dornenreich were damn good, too. The guitar sound was fucking awesome and Inve's appearance gave the whole show a special touch.

because that's more dramatic?

The black metal weather just rolled in. High wind, heavy snow and thunder and lightning and hail and rain all at once. Was cool watching it LITERALLY roll in like a dark grey wall.

Maybe... In fact, it was quite dramatic in some way. I mean, they could have played another great Song ("You were but a ghost in my arms" or "Hallways of enchanted ebony"). But in the end, it doesn't matter. Great show.
