Dougs Tubes....Mesa Mark IV....HALP?!

Getting some tubes and I hear good stuff about Dougs Tubes......but I think their site is changed around and I can't quite seem to find what I'm looking for.

Got a Mark IV that needs full retube. Wanted to go JJ 6L6s for power and ?!?!?! for preamp.....but I guess JJ's dont make a 6L6? Before I found the Handpicked pre section with the Tung Sol and all kinds of other tubes, was really thinking about going that route.

Any input here?

EDIT: Found the Preamp kit I was looking for.....just not too sure which powers to get.

Just call Doug. He's quite helpful. (He might be out of the JJ's)

Winged =C= 6L6's are really good. I've also liked Ruby 6L6GCMSTR's in some amps.

If your MkIV is a Simul-Class amp, I like running 2 6L6's and 2 EL-34's in those amps. A Winged =C= 6L6/EL-34 combo for the power section would be a good choice IMHO.

Yeah, Simul-Class. I here great things about the =C= but aren't they going way up in price as of lately?

Maybe I will go the 6L6/EL34 route as I do like each for their differences.
