Hey.. I already own that video... in vastly better quality :p

No, but that interview was really cool... Lopez definately hasn't changed from when I last met him, haha.

PS. Is it just me or do Opeth TOTALLY not fit into that video?

You know, there is more than one style of music and more than one band out there. Some of the bands in that show I didn't care for, others I really like.

They played some Clutch on that show. I saw Clutch at SOTU, and guess who I saw standing on the side of the stage with a huge smile on his face, banging his head and moving to the music and generally enjoying himself as he watched Clutch perform ? Mikael Akerfeld.

Q. What are you guys at home when you are not metal gods?
A. Just gods.

And just how is At the Gates bringing attention to Opeth these days?

I don't hate every band on SOTU tour, but most of the bands they interviewed before the Opeth interview weren't that great. Bands like Clutch and Strapping Young Lad I respect, even though I don't listen to them.

SOTU was one of the most annoying things ever to sit through. 3 bands out of far too many were even worth watching, and with Opeth playing an entire 3 songs, the day could have been spent better jamming splinters under my fingernails.
