Downloading music

Im sort of new to this. The last time i downloaded music was when Kazaa Lite was in its prime. So what should I use now? Whats good right now?

Soulseek is, IMO, better than DC++, but both are massively superior to the piece of shit that is Kazaa/K-Lite.

dc++ most of the time, bit torrent if i can't find it on dc++ (which is pretty rare)...

I'm surprised people use bit torrent for downloading music, I always thought it was for larger files like games and movies.

Tan: of course they do, Bittorrent usually has the widest choice of music. I get everything from bittorrent apart from more obscure metal releases, which I use the hub for.

Forward the correct ports (usually in the region of 6880-6999 and 6969) to your PC then?

Soulseek is probably your best bet, unfortunately it goes down quite often...i dont think i've used anything better though. Theres a huge amount of metal shared...even the most 'obscure metal releases' can be found.
