Glenn, has this band ever been considered for PROG POWER?May want to check em out...I might have to see about that "sponsor"thing.

They used to be called Dragonheart, but had to change the name.

I downloaded a few of there songs when I first moved to Atlanta (2000)...but I have recently seen they have 2 CDs out now. Their website is pretty killer, and I have always liked there stuff...looks like a loyal following has built up across the water.

Just a thought....anybody else heard them or into them..?!?!

I'll be ordring the CDs for sure....

Dragonforce is an amazing band, well structured music, fast and technical. :worship:
I had the hope to see them in PP VI, and I felt a little disappointed when the line up was completed without this band

Dragonforce only have played in Europe, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan, never in America continent.

I hope to see them in PPVII or before here in Mexico

Fast, melodic, and you ought to see them in concert. I saw them in Greece in 2003 and what a show. One guy from Hong Kong, one from New Zealand, one from South Africa, and one from the Ukraine and two from England, talk about diverse backgrounds, but they put it all together into the force, the force called Dragonforce. Herman Li is so fast as is Sam Trotman if you get to see them in concert GO!!!!! it will be worth the money.

I got hooked on them during the MP3.Com days as well. Have both albums, and think they'd make a great addition to PP. I'm still holding out hope for Virgin Steele one day as well.

So fast they're insane. I would love to see them live. I'd say that Dragonforce and Sonata Arctica are the two power metal bands I most want to see next year. Oh, and Masterplan.

I hear that they are the fastest power metal band out there. Nobody can play as fast as they can. They would kick ass for prog power! Glenn, they must be at least a consideration!

Technical? Herman Li plays just a handful of EASY arpeggios.... just reallly fast.. I don't find that to be technical... I'm sorry

Dragonforce is bleh.

Demoniac ruled.

"Hitler Metal want to bang my fucking head
And fist the living dead in the middle of the night alright
I really want to bang my head and fist the living dead middle of the night my sign
The Metal's in my blood and the power is here and now for you!
Hitler Metal! Sieg Hail!"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! That is so OTT that it is near brilliant.

Anyway, I love DragonForce. A friend of mine actually gave me his DragonForce albums because he didn't listen to them that much and thought I would like them. I'd definitely like to see them at a future ProgPower.

My CDs ofThe Valley of the Damned and Sonic Firestorm on on there way to me!!!! WOOOO HHOOOOO!!!!

I threw in a Dream Evil- Dragon Slayer CD on the order. Why not...

Glad to see an interest on the Dragonforce...... :kickass: the boys have fun and play hard.....but ain't that what attracted most of us to the METAL way of life.....

They are a great band. They have members from different parts of the world. I know of 1 in South Africa and the rest are in different parts of Europe and England. So it might be hard to bring them all here. But you never know.

ZP the Singer's South African, Herman's from Hong Kong, Sam's English born but grew up in New Zealand, Dave's English, Vadim's Ukranian, and Adrian's English.

Technical? Herman Li plays just a handful of EASY arpeggios.... just reallly fast.. I don't find that to be technical... I'm sorry

Well then.... let's see YOU play them simple arpeggios and trembalos and virtuosos that damn fast!
