Here's mine: vocals: Anders (Katatonia) for clean, Mikael (Opeth/Katatonia) for grunt
Lead guitar: difficult.... maybe Mikael
Rhythm: Jon Shaffer (Iced Earth)
Bass: Cliff or Dunc (You know, Sunn O))) has a song called "I dream of Lars being thrown through the buss window instead of my master mystikall Kliff Burton" hehe)
Drums: Igor Cavalera (Sepultura, Beneath the Remains/Arise era)

And what comes to the dream lineup, I'd say one bad mf would be Jens Kidman (Meshuggah) on vox, Atari Teenage Riot delivering the beats and Jocke Skog (Clawfinger) producing and doing the synths. Oh, somebody for the guitars. hmm.. Kerry King, for sure

Violin: Powell (Ex- MDB, don't know where he has gone to)

that is what i can think of, though there are/have been many good musicians out there

Yes why not? there is proof it works allright! Remember "Son Song" on Soulfly's Primitive? Now, that one is together written and played with Sean Lennon (son of)
