I FOR ONE LIKE THIS ALBUM AND FIND DREAM THEATER'S PRE SFAM MATERIAL A LITTLE UNINTERESTING.

From the few songs I heard, I'm left with this thought, you can't shove 12 gallons of shit into a 6 gallon can. These guys will always be making albums that are nothing but wankfests. Their last good album was "Awake." At least, at that time they seem concerned about song composition. But hey, that's just me. I hope some can enjoy this album.

gave up on them after hearing the total wankfest called "train of thought". i just cant forget that speed-of-light solo by petrucci on one of the final tracks.

is it just me?

Stream of Consciousness solo is standable but in the name of god about 9:15, Oh lord.

I really liked this album as a whole, even if the lyrics were a bit iffy.

Music was 70% tolerable to good, lyrics were a trainwreck

parts of it are enjoyable, other parts are wank, lyrics are pretty ridiculous but then again they really don't write too many good lyrics now-a-days anyways

the blast in a nightmare to remember came out of nowhere, I really didnt think portnoy could even play that fast
