i remember when i was a little metal kid who didn't quite know good music from bad yet, and only had like 16 mp3's because napster on 33.6 was very slow, i thought this was a good song:



but it's not. i was wrong. it's a very bad song. probably better than some of their other garbage though. but still: very, extremely bad music

I've disliked this band forever. But primarily because I hated the vocals. However, the vocals no longer bug me, and I totally love the new album.

Scene from a Memory = okay album, but filled with wankery
the rest = pure and utter horse shit

Other than this song, which I still enjoy to this day. Notice the lack of solos and throat-raped vocals.

I used to LOVE Scenes From A Memory. I cannot stomach any of their shit nowadays though.

IMAGES AND WORDS is untouchable ... just an amazing record.

the debut WHEN DREAM AND DAY UNITE is pretty killer too (different vocalist)

the rest ... to quote Sire Harbinson ... "pure and utter horse shit"

Scenes from a Memory was great

The new album is superb. It's the first disc by them I've ever loved, and being hailed by the DT fanboys as their best in years.

DT has a really extensive Wikipedia page. The first few paragraphs mention all the "best all time" awards from obscure websites and magazines the members have won. John Myung? Best bassist of all time? Eh?
