I'm really enjoying the album... It took me a few spins to get used to the blasting and a weird bass pop thingy. Everything is starting to come into place. Another great release.

How can this be considered their weakest by some? This stuff is a solid as any of their previous works, and maybe even more alive with breathtaking visions. The first 20 seconds of the first songs are enough to buy their whole discography, and the main riff of The Skies at our Feet is as beautiful and humbling as the one on Wind of the Night Forests (on AA), only better. I would agree with the third track being a little sub-par, as it misses some binding power to string the elements together, but it is still a good song, not to be skipped. And the closing track is a perfect mood setter, you can almost hear the rustle of leaves and glimpse the burning shadows of a thousand pines crowned in Slavonic sunset!

Knowing Supernal's track record, it wouldn't surprise me if they were currently accepting preorders for their next release, which hasn't even been recorded yet.

It's not that Estrangement is bad per se, it's just not as good as BioW or AA but based on Ellestin's post, I'll give it a few more spins.
Anytime I consider listening to Estrangement, I decide to listen to the vastly superior Epos instead.

What would Nathan do?
I've already wrote about this in here, but after nearly 100 spins later, this is the best thing by Drudkh so far. If they'd continued the direct path after The Blood.. it would not reached that far, but mixing the elements of all their previous albums with some new elements, this album is something I worship myself, simply amazing.
I can't wait for the next album...too bad the record industry is much slower than Drudkh.

I love this album, it is like a more desolate version of other Drudkh albums. It makes me feel like it's late autumn, and I'm walking in a desolate field, having now idea where I'm going, but thoroughly enjoying being alone.
