Hello, im about to buy some drum mics and was wondering if anyone had some comments on those I picked or know if I could get something better for my money before I order them

1 OKTAVA MK 012-01 MSP2 MATCHED PAIR (overhead)
1 SHURE SM57LC BUNDLE (snare)
1 SAMSON 5KIT DRUMSET (Toms, kick)
1 AUDIX I-5 (snare)
about 709 euro (865 USD)

Im most likely gonna blend the toms and replace/blend the kick.

I use sm57 on toms, sounds awesome. And i would go with a Shure beta 91 on kick and sm57 on snare, but that i guess is a matter of taste. The oktavas are great OH mic's.

Instead of the Samson's buy triggers as you'll still use them once you've bought tom mic's.

A good drummer can make the drum sound pritty ql through the samson mics and you can still use microphones as triggers! I would go with the microphones... IMO

can someone tell me more about the samson CO2 pair? i need overheads on a budget, obviously i want them to sound good too.... these will pick up all the cymbals, but i'd need to mic the hi-hat specifically in addition, that right?
