Drum Plugins

I'm about to open a massive can of worms here aren't I?

What is generally considered to be the best drum plugin out there at the moment? I'm using SD2 but have heard great things about Addictive Drums.

Anyone out there care to share thoughts/samples?

TBH .... i like a combination of different plugins/samples. SD2+SSD+LSD .....

Yeah, that seems to be the ideal way to go. I bought some samples and am using APTrigga to integrate them into my bits and bobs. The toms in superior drummer though...they just seem to be lacking.

I still like and use the superior 2 the most. I have SSD 3.5 plat, Addictive, EZD (metal machine, and metalheads ezx) and BFD eco as well.

i fucking swear by the Joe Barresi Evil Drums SDX , i never seem to use anything else these days.

theres a relative new plugin called Drumasonic is really really good guys believe me.. its wasn't specially designed for metal but its realism is outstanding, i like to use its cymbals blended with SD kick, snare and toms

you won't get disappointed man. Without Doubt its on pair with sd 2.0 or SSD 4 speaking about quality if not better(realism)
