Drum recording clinic/FAQ: Any interest?

Hey all...

In the interest of giving something back to this community, which has helped me refine my guitar recording technique a great deal, I was wondering if you'd all be interested in a drum recording clinic.

I've seen quite a few threads regarding "how do I record live drums?" and that sort of thing, Well, I'm rather obsessive about drums, and I could put together quite a comprehesive guide if you guys are interested.

Basically, i just want to make sure there's some interest before I write this thing out.

Yeah that would be kool, Drum recording is one of the things i still need to learn alot about and its always good to see peoples techniques and ideas for recording different instruments

Tuning drums allways was the most importent part, but i'd be really really intrested to know moore about mic positioning...

Maybe Andy will scan it over and add or subtract some stuff for you. I could certainly add a couple things. Maybe you could tailor it towards close miking metal oriented sounds. Or not!

Yeah man, I'd love to read that. I missed my drum recording lesson at college the other week, so it'd be particularly helpful to me.
