I'm using Drumagog to replace cymbals as well as drums, and with drums its just a mono image of each drum which I can easily pan, but with cymbals I've got 2 mics giving a stereo image of each cymbal turned into a sample. Problem is when Drumagog uses them, it pans them or adjusts the volume so that it sounds like it is centred. I CAN pan the samples afterwards, but then you lose some of the stereo imaging on the side being panned away from. Is there a solution to this? Other than that Drumagog is working way better than I expected for cymbals, sounds real..only pain is programming so many different midi tracks for different stages of hihat opening, etc.
