Drummer for Avenged Sevenfold found dead

This is tragic. I can't believe it; only 28. This just doesn't happen in rock n' roll very often. Damn.

RIP, but I have to be honest, after watching several behind the scenes videos and such, this did not come as an OMG, how can this be, type announcement to me. Whatever the natural cause may be, I would not be surprised to find a link to past behaviors and habits in his death. I actually find Avenged Sevenfold to be entertaining in that more traditional Rock n' Roll type vibe - they write catchy pop oriented metal/rock music (so catchy that I want to gouge my eyes out sometimes trying to forget a particular chorus or something), but the Rev will be missed, I just can't say I'm overly surprised that he was the one found dead.

RIP Rev - may peace find you.

This is a pretty hard blow. I worshiped every single song on Waking the Fallen when it came out, and still considered one of my favorite albums to this day. RIP Rev.

It's very tragic to see that there are too many talented and genuine celebrities dying way past their time lately.

Well isn't this out of the blue...

RIP, not a fan of Avenged Sevenfold but it's sad that things like this happen.

What the fuck is natural causes for a 28 year old?

He was a pretty awesome drummer, and I don't mind their music at all.

+1, I used to be a big fan when I was a tad younger, I still recall listening to Unholy Confessions, Beast and the Harlot and Bat Country. He was a really good drummer, sad news.

Damn, really makes me think about keeping tabs on my health and lifestyle. Wasn't a huge fan of his music, though I can't deny I enjoyed some songs, but I think cranking Maiden's "Only the Good Die Young" is a fair tribute. RIP.

although they say natural causes dont forget that working in the music industry is hardly natural.

chances are he delt with stress on a daily scale. between late nights, constant press people following him around, extreme amounts of traveling, chances are excessive partying and bad eating.

on the other side he's lived and seen more then a lot of us will ever see in a lifetime. RIP-REV
