Drummer for the '2000 Decibel' festival

Pär Hjulström (also drummer for Athela) will play drums for us on the 2000 Decibel festival here in Sweden on May 22. If everything works out fine he will surely become a permanent member... i.e. if he wants to be in Amaran

I just heard one of the sample songs from the Athela page, and I must say, he sounds great. Here's to hoping that everything works out and he officially joins up with your band!

I can only speak for myself... It felt really good to play with Pär. Even though we've only played with him once, and it was a try-out, if felt like the whole band could play 'relaxed' with him! That's always a good sign!

btw, did you guys notice the news made it on Blabbermouth!!! wow! that's how i found out..
i checked out some demos from Athela. sounds good, but i wish athela turned up the volume of the bass drums and let him unleash his potential. the brutal bass drums by Robin was a signature sound in Amaran IMO. sucks that he left .
Kari, I hope you and the rest of the band and keep up this tradition in future albums with whichever drummer makes the cut...
