Sorry your dad is an idiot. Lars is a dumb ass to begin with and was at a time a pretty decent drummer but they "sold out" their orginal sound to something crappy and "mainstream". Just because you can hold a beat doesn't mean that you are a good drummer. I know drummers that can hold a beat but suck big time at playing (considering they did just start out).
