So I started drumming for fun a few weeks ago.
And that's a lot of fun actually.
I took the time to grasp ergonomics principles (playing position, grip and such) but everytime I play for a prolonged period of time , I get a mild pain in my right index finger, around the first joint area. If I keep playing I end up constantly loosing the grip and throwing the stick across the room and of course the pain get worst.
I had this finger broken like twenty years ago but never had rehabilitation of any sort. So maybe this is connected though I have a hard time believing such an old injury would cause this.
Any recommendations (other than have it checked by a specialist)?
