DTB's sidebands...Live.

I just saw Ryan's (DTB drummer) band God Awakens Petrified perform in Vancouver on New Years Eve a couple days ago. They are fucking incredible ! The drumming that Ryan does in that band is unbelievable !!!! I always thought he was a great drummer with the stuff he does with Devin, but man, did he raise the bar the other night, he is completely insane in GAP. I wish all you guy's could have seen it, did anyone else go ? If so what did you think ? I think the whole show was Ryan !!! I even saw a group of people back stage just watching him play the whole set ! I have a new respect for this man and his drumming.


Has anyone seen any of the other DTB sidebands play ? Like, Evenlight or Ten Ways from Sunday ? If so I'd like to find out what they are like as well. I'm keeping my ears open for their shows and I'll give you all an update when I see them live. Hopefully it will be as cool a show, like what GAP put on !

Evenlight and Brian haven't played a gig since two years or so . They recorded a EP with Dev in (8 days) in Vancouver but the album is for now, nowhere to find .
Also their website is actually in construction

I heard Bryan was giving out this Evenlight record on the US tour. A buddy of mine got a 3 song sampler of GAP and an Evenlight record. He said both records are awesome ! I have both GAP cd's myself, "Afterbirth" from GAP is fucking awesome. Ryan plays some awesome drums on that E.P., especially live, he really kicked ass. His double bass was so fast ! I did'nt know he could play like that !

You will soon have new vids of Ryan from this GAP shows on RVP drums, on the january update. Ryan is fast and furious on double pedal, I have the two GAP records and I must admit that with a bigger production this band would sound awesome .

Evenlight is cool, I have three MP3 somewhere and it's more "hard rock" than metal, a lot funny... Dave Young the DTB keyboardist joined them on guitar. He usually plays guitar with Ten ways from sunday

I can't wait to see these mpegs of Ryan drumming. Are they mpegs from the show he played on New Years ? Cuz if they are, that was some awesome drumming he did that night, I witnessed it in person. Thanks for the news, BRING IT ON !!!!

Ryan just mailed me to tell me that the mpgs will be here in one week...They seem to be awesome, that's what he said.
