Does anyone have these pick-ups? Im deciding if I should switch right now because i have a TB right now.

those pickups give you a Nu_Metal sound, which i doubt you want.

I suggest an X2N in the Bridge position and a Tone Zone in the neck.

Or instead of getting dimarzio's get Dave mustaine Live Sigs there fucking Awesome.
I think those are the same things as the live wire just with his name on it

eh,the only problem is that I think you have to buy both, and im not sure if I even need to change pick-ups,I hear the TBs arent that bad

well, its YOU who has to decide if you want to change them

from everything I've heard about the Live Wire HM (including clips) its a pretty mid-heavy PU.... not exactly what I'd call the typical NU Metal sound

I know I have to choose but im not sure it would be smart to spen 100 bux on something that barely changes my tone.

Ive played the Live Wires and they are very powerful and toneless. They sound bad. If you want to hear them check out Tom Hess. He uses them in his Carvin V220s. I never liked the tone nor do I like his tone. but what you hear in his recordings are the Live Wires.

Don't listen to him he's a ibanez fanboy get Bareknuckle nailbombs

ibanez pwns, and i dont see what dimarzio has to do with ibanez other then the fact that they come stock is a few ibanez guitars.

Dimarzio are the best hands down!

I know quite a few other guys who'd say that..... then I know just as many guys who'd say Duncans are the best, another bunch who'd say Bareknuckles are best and another group who'd say Lawrences are best.
know what I'm trying to say? I honestly think comments like that wont help anyone searching for a PU to get "his" sound.

I mean: good sound is a VERY subjective thing after all!!

I think ive decided that the PUs I havew right now are fine for now.Im just going to spend my money elsewhere..Mabye ill replace that fake sounding metal master

I tried some distortions, they sucked,I think im gunna spend my money on a delay pedal, its amazing what a little delay can do to a solo

hmmmm

a little undecided, arent you?

about PUs: your best bet probably is to listen closely to the ones you already have and then decide what you'd want to change about the sound they give
