need suggestions PLEASE!!!

ok i just bought a (ESP) LTD MHB-200 solid neck threw i have been doing some research and im not sure if both of the pick-ups are EMG 81'S? How can i tell? im thinking about replaceing them with the EMG KFK'S (which are a emg 81 and a emg 85 with a 20 desiable booster) or the standard EMG ZW with is a 85 and a 81 EMG'S im not sure if i like the way the guitar sounds now.I really cant get into it cuz it dont have the sound like my Ibanez RG 540 which has Seymore Duncan pick-ups in it. any help would be cool

depends on when you bought it

if its worth the effort, it should show the model number on on the bottom of the pickup...

if its really as easy as that (I have no idea), then it should be really easy to find out, as the 81 is active and the HZs are passive

and if you want to make sure just do as the other person said,just look at the back but i'm pretty sure they are both 81s

well if its active, you should find a battery somewhere in the guitar. if its not a specific designated area, then unscrew the back of all the knobs. if you cant find a battery, they are passive.
