I need advice!

My friend knows someone that is buying an ESP EC-300. This guy wants to take out the EMG pick ups and replace them with Gibson pickups. He is buying this guitar in october, so i have a while. He is gonna ssell them for $50 each. I have a Standard Ibanez RG. WOuld the EMG's fit and is it a wise decision to buy them?

they would fit and it would be a maybe wise decision, since these pickups should rule. I haven't played them, yet.

i've got some in my Gibson SG. they're great.

yeah they will fit perfect...........i have a standard ibanez rgr270dx and a jackson dxmg with these pick ups in....(emg 81)......they sound great and fit perfectly.
