My friend knows someone that is buying an ESP EC-300. This guy wants to take out the EMG pick ups and replace them with Gibson pickups. He is buying this guitar in october, so i have a while. He is gonna ssell them for $50 each. I have a Standard Ibanez RG. WOuld the EMG's fit and is it a wise decision to buy them?
I need advice!

I'm not sure, but they should fit, may require a little modification to the route...
If it's a S series guitar, it may not be possible.
I don't know. Not much of a fan of Ibanez, or ESP for that matter.

Shouldn't be that big a deal really...I have an Ibanez RG series that I just recently bought (I hate the damn thing, but the price was right) and only one pickup in it is original...the others (the humbuckers) have been replaced by the Zebra pickups like are in my Dean ML and V's. They shouldn't have too much trouble fitting in your Ibanez
