DVD release delayed?

Hi folks!

I've just received an email from amazon.de, which says there is a delay on the shipment. I checked this on their page and the new release date seems to be:

Lieferung voraussichtlich: 28. April 2006 - 2. Mai 2006

The release date on the german Nuclearblast shop says Aprl. 28. as well.

Nevertheless, I haven't read anything official yet. It's just my guess that we have to wait one week more :zombie: So please somebody tell me I'm wrong...

I bought my copy over ebay (Metalblade shop). I haven't received an email yet wich says that the release wil be delayed.

is it really necessary to pre order the DVD you think?
considering i live in Paris and i know of a few metal shops that might have it, shops that also have the Windir DVD and stuff a little less successful as AA.
i think i'll take the chance to wait till it comes out in shops. i doubt they'll all be sold out in a month.

According to the bulletin MetalBlade Europe posted on their MySpace thingy, the DVD is being delayed due to a problem with manufacturing.

I quote:

Dear friends,

Many of you have seen the bad moon rising in the past. And yes, we need to postpone the release date of the AMON AMARTH 3-DVD-set Wrath Of The Norsemen to May, 12th (G/A/S) and 15th (Europe).

Due to technical reasons (which in this case means a problem in manufacturing) we need to do so.

Thanks for your understanding.

I talked to Ted (and Johan Hegg) yesterday and the reason for the delay is that the sound on the main disc was out of sync or something so they have to correct that and press new ones. Hoing to see them live in 2.5 hours \m/

Yeah, that'd be cool, but I COVET the CD and want it to have at home just so I can sit there and hold it and beam at it. I was gunna do that so I could get some of the beaming out of my system before I see you next...
