Yoyo!! I had a great time at DOA, had so much fun..
Had a nice spot in front of henkka. They played sthg like;

I'm not 100% shure becease I wasn't that sober, so
They just did the show and nothing really special happened. Janne was helping with the soundcheck. Sometimes had the impression that everything that roope played was far to easy for THE MAN. Roope is amazing. Saw Henkka and Janne walking by after the show somewhere at the metalmarket. They seemed to be in a hurry and/or didn't want to be recognized or something. I had a great time anyway.
Soulfly (played a few sepultura songs which sounded like shit) was little boring. Agent steel was funny. Vocalist sucks!! Nightwish totally sucked ass. Ran away after 3 songs or something. Dimmu was quite cool. They had some trouble; first with a trigger at the soundchek and after 2 or 3 songs Vortex his wireless was dead. Ohw and Barker is fucking better than that session guy they have now. Nice moshpit, few crowdsurfers. Had to leave after a few songs becease I had to go to headliner Slayer.
Slayer fucking ruled. Heard some confusing stories about them that they suck live etc. but I have to say they were fucking amazing. Tom Araya was laughing and grining all the time and I think they had a great time to. Those guys were changing guitars all the time. I remember Mr King used about 7 different guitars.

I saw Slayer live at Wacken last year, and while they hardly spoke at all there, the main thanked the audience for coming like 4 times at the Dynamo.. well, I didnt come for Slayer so I wasnt too disappointed that I didnt like their show, heh.
I hafta agree that Nightwish sucked ass. Could they possibly have acted more arrogantly? Didnt think so...
Soulfly sucked, only thing I liked were the Sepultura songs. Ill Nino was super repetetive so I went getting some chips during that. Way to go..
CoB fucking destroyed the place. I saw them for the third time now and it was by far the best gig so far for me.
I liked After Forever, too. They played a really nice Iron Maiden cover there, which is more than many bands produce while attempting that.
I sure had some fun there, especially later, when we asked the Police Officer where to find a Coffee Shop

Yihaa, eergisteren naar Nijmegen geweest om Children of Bodom te gaan zien. 
Een paar uur m'n plaatsje vooraan verdedigen en terwijl ik aan het wachten was moést 'k dan maar verplicht kijken naar Ill Niño ... wát een kútband jong! Gelukkig was het publiek nog wat lichtjes aan het moshen en springen en kon ik toch nog wat fun hebben...
AARGH, aan de ingang moest ik m'n reflextoestel (dat ik van m'n opa geërfd heb) afgeven... Er stond amper een 35-70 lens op die niet eens lichtsterk is... En mensen met een digitaal toestel met een dubbel zo grote zoom mochten wél binnen.
Maar god zij dank had ik m'n lomo toestel nog bij.
Gelukkig speelde Children of Bodom enige tijd later op Dynamo Open Air en kon ik voor m'n tweede maal genieten van een prachtconcert. Alexi Laiho heeft nog een aantal leuke kunstjes laten zien met z'n gitaar en deze keer mocht ik ook Roope Latvala (sinergy) bewonderen die met custom Jackson speelde.
Vooral toen Janne Warmen van Bodom constant tussen de liedjes door stukjes van Nightwish zat te spelen om Laiho ambetant te maken... Janne wordt daar ook niet voor niets als pispaal beschouwd.
Uiteindelijk verzocht Laiho het publiek om zo luid mogelijk 'Play Motherfùcker' te roepen en dat hielp dan toch.
Vorig jaar hebben ze na hun gitaar-keyboard duel een stukje van Stratovarius zitten jammen ook. Was best wel leuk.
En Janne is trouwens ook te horen op de cd van Kotipelto die nu uit is.
M'n Hollandse vrienden van op msn waren gelukkig ook daar en het was leuk ze te ontmoeten.
Na een schitterend After Forever ben ik dan toch terug naar huis gegaan dmv 4 uurtjes treinen.
(aangezien ik wat hoofdpijn had, nekpijn van het bangen, en de zure wind me daar tegenstak wou ik niet langer blijven. Had ik daar gebleven voor de laatste groepen te zien, dan moest ik nadien nog es 8 uur wachten of op café gaan om dan pas om 7 uur 's morgens de eerste trein te kunnen nemen. En die hotels daar waren 84 exclusief ontbijt... en dat had ik er nou niet voor over voor groepen die ik toch al gezien had en in het najaar of op graspop nog es ga zien)
Ik was al dik tevree met m'n favo groep te zien en de rest van de namiddag geëntertaind te zijn. En in Brussel moest ik toch een uur wachten op m'n volgende trein, dus ben ik maar naar de Finse Pub geweest en heb ik een hele leuke babbel gehad met een Finse dame en de uitbater en nog een paar anderen daar.
Een geslaagde dag! Kon ik goed op tijd in m'n nest kruipen en hiermee had ik gisteren (zondag) ook nog iets van m'n dag.
