My drummer wants to use some effects like "Bass-Drops" live. So he's wondering what kind of pads he could buy.

This e-drum has more then one pads. Could he put on every pad a different
sample and use them live.
I think it would't work, 'cause when you use them u need a trigger software like drumagog. And every pad would be in the same track so every pad
would have the same sound.
Am I right. Or is it possible. (even without a trigger software.)
