E530 WITH OD808 test

Hey,

Here is a sample of E530 with maxon 808 using englcab impulse, I need opinions about this It´s only one rythm guitar track per side with drums, I want to record quad but I need to know if it sound good first

the guitars could use alittle more low end, but i like them quite a bit as they are now.

I like that a lot, but I'm not a fan of the "bwah bwah bwah" Tube Screamers seem to add to a lot of stuff... any chance of you posting a similar clip without the 808?

Hahaha, I guess I'm a weirdo then! I doubt I'm the only one, though. I'm seriously thinking about picking up a 530, but only if it doesn't make that auto-wah lower midrange sound on its own, which is hard to tell from that clip, since there was a TS in front. I DO really like the upper mids and treble, though... sounds like exactly what I wanted to complement my 5150.

I`m gonna record a e530 this weekend, so I`m pretty stoked.
what output did you use for the impulse to work correctly? (there are so many outputs on this thing...)

I used the left line-out (mono), don't use the compensated line-out cus it already emulates the 4x12 cab but it doesn't sound as good as impulses.
