I was at that show in Sayreville, New Jersey.

Anyway, I found out three days ago that MEDIEVAL STEEL had re-released their only album with a different name and bonus stuff. Finally I'll have it, the tape someone recorded me more than 15 years ago was in a real bad state. I ordered it yesterday... :kickass:

I got it last monday from play.com its great. The dvd is a sneak preview of the new live forthcoming dvd.Check out track 6,it features the bird from Texas on vocals. Its cool:cool:

Budgie are supposed to be releasing a new album pretty soon - they have been saying that since the summer right enough - but hopefully it will be out before Christmas - this is the one I'm most excited about.

Pax you gotta chjeck em out!Its punk but with that glam slant. But done well.Imagine if Motley Crue were good. Its dirty punk guitars with glam anthems and potty mouths. Its the New York Dolls meets The Stooges.Ok im over doing it now but right now they give me the horn.

Cheers Wilks, but it was actually liama who asked!

Knowing that you like your punk stuff Wilks, do you like Joy Division? I'm not really sure if you would call them punk, but I think their earlier stuff was. The reason I ask is that I am reading 'Touching From A Distance', by Deborah Curtis. She was the wife of Ian Curtis (Joy Division singer who committed suicide in 1980). I hadn't heard that much by them, so I bought 'Substance'. It is an album of songs that didn't make the two albums that Joy Division released. I was just wondering if you liked them (or if anyone else does for that matter), and would you recommend their two 'proper' albums. Substance is a bit hit and miss, but I like the more raw, earlier punky stuff. The song 'Warsaw' is superb.

I can recommend the book, if that is anybody thing. It is a good read.

Cheers mate. Have you got 'Unknown Pleasures' or 'Closer'? If so, are they worth getting? It is funny that 'Love Will Tear Us Apart', wasn't actually on either of their two albums! Even though it was recorded at the same time as the songs that became the 'Closer' album, for some reason it wasn't chosen. And it is has become their best known song!

Pax i dont matter but if you have to buy one i would go with Closer. Its cover kinda spooky. Then you get 9 songs of greatness. The album just seem to cloe round you and take you into parts of yourself you dont always wanna go.Alright im being a bit heavy now but you get the idea.

Its dark yet kinda uplifting at times.A bit like The Cures Faith or Pornography. Both are dark albums but at times lift you.I think its the feeling of i hope i never get that low.
