I finally  got a mic pre and recently started recording guitars.
Why does sound only come out of the left channel while sending a live signal & recording?
Once it's recorded it plays back fine through both channels.

While sending a live signal regardless if I'm recording or not I noticed that if my input is analog 1 & my output is analog 1 & 2, the sound comes through both channels but there is a slight latency that I can't deal with so I set my input on analog 1 & output on ADAT-C 1-2.

So as of now I'm recording while only able to hear 1 channel over perfectly fine, 2 channel backing tracks. Kinda annoying. :erk:

Try using CueMix to do your monitoring rather than DP's monitoring. Not that there's anything wrong with DP's monitoring, it's just that CueMix uses your hardware's analog monitoring signal path, so that you have true zero latency.

I'd have to see a screenshot of your signal pathing in DP to be able to fix your left/right issues more specifically.

Thanks Kazrog, that was it. I had it panned hard left in cuemix.
Cuemix occurred to me but then I figured that probably wasn't the problem so I blew it off and then forgot about.
Cool, now back to finding a good recording tone.
