economy vs alternate

hey guys. i noticed that i always use economy picking between strings. For example

--15---17-19-----------
D U D D U D

Is it wrong or should i stay picking that way?

Go with whatever is most comfortable to you. If you're used to strict alternate between the strings, go for it. If you're more of an economy picker, do that. Me personally, I'd probably alternate pick that.

Be able to do both, it will boost your technique big time.
