I think I may have described them once as Julie Andrews ('climb every mountain') fronting a power-metal band. 'Sunrise in Eden' didn't sound quite so excruciating last time I played it.

At all the previous Bloodstock festivals we have announced several bands before the headline slot has been filled. This is due to having to wait until we see who is available / touring at the time of the festival to then approach to headline.

Wacken announces 100's of bands before the headliner appears, and so do other festivals. Only Donington opened each year by announcing the headliner. We do not do this as if we announced a headliner first, then the festival could become just another "show" or tourdate for that band, and in the words of Wacken - The festival is the headliner!
