Please ....you are a British festival....don't forget your roots. What about putting on someone like Blitzkrieg, Angel Witch, Cloven Hoof, Elixir, Desolation Angels, or (my dream) even Venom??? Saracen, Diamond Head, Saxon.....they all had great shows at Bloodstock and I think a festival like yours needs to always remind the people of their musical roots......

I have been to every Bloodstock until now (coming up from Luxembourg each year) and i love the atmosphere, the friendliness and the brilliant bands. It would be a shame to see Bloodstock disappear along the same lines as the major festivals inEurope, namely dictated by record companies (my opinion)....

Anyway, I am really looking forward to this year's weekend of Metal and a NWOBHM band would just be the icing on the cake.

Would be great for me as I have just been asked to play bass guitar for the band that is supporting Blitskreig in the Uk this year!!!!!! So it would be good to have them at Bloodstock. I'm dead chuffed about this like!

I agree, every metal festival needs at least one NWOBHM band. Would Motorhead be too much to hope for, I wonder?

I think this is the first Bloodstock were no NWOBHM has been on show

01 - Saxon
02 - Diamond Head
03 - Saxon, Saracen

Maybe one of not so big names could get a spot in the Darwin Suite?! Are Jaguar or Trespass still on the go?

i dont know if its just me or somthing, but i have no idea what NWOBHM is an abbreviation of, although i think i understand its purpose but not the actual abrv meaning. can anyone help
