no limitations. maybe in the long run, if you want to upgrade to logic 9 or whatnot, you probably have to change to a commerical license or something, but thats it.

I don't have a link. I go to NYU, which has more macs and Apple software than any college in the US. Apple reps actually call our teachers when shit comes out, and at our computer store, Logic 8 is $150. Logic 7, which was $1000, was $300 at our computer store.

Honestly, if people can't find that discount at their school or something, maybe we could work something out where I buy a few copies for people. It hasn't arrived at our computer store yet, but the day it does, I'm buying it. I've used Pro Tools ever since I started recording on computers, and Logic 8 looks so good, and the price is so goddamn low, I really have to try it.

Yeah, I got Logic 7 for $300 at the UCSB store... I'll be buying Logic 8 for sure, if it's only $150.
