I didn't hear of them in the US, but these werent allowed to be sold out of Japan because they were modeled after other guitars bodys which have a patent on them. But I know someone who has an Edwards Les Paul with EMG's and an ebony fretboard. Amazing! Are better quality than LTD's.

My Edwards LP was....ok. Having owned over a dozen Les Pauls, they're definitely not better than the real thing. For the money though, they're a pretty good deal. On par with LTD's....but not on par with an ESP standard series. I bought one because of all of the hype, and it's mainly hype. Not bad guitars, but I wouldn't buy another one.

^^ Agreed... I had an Edwards LP Custom - on par with my EC1000, but my M-1 NTB crushes the hell out of both.

Great guitars, but you're really paying for the workmanship, not nice cuts of wood.

On par with the 1000 series LTD from what I've played, not as good as original ESPs but way better than lesser LTDs.
