Out of all the new amps being debuted at NAMM this one really caught my attention:

Looks and sounds great. Some hot-rodded Marshall vibes and an awesome clean channel.

And how cool is it to have an ISP Decimator built in your amp?

I just now noticed the "tight" switches on second watch. If implemented well, this might even make a TS obsolete.

I think, I'm in love. They didn't even (properly) mic that amp in the vid and it already sounds super sweet.

another video....also showing the DAR amp. Looks very badass, but I know nothing about DAR, nor how much it will cost.

Nice clean channel! Hard to get a good pristine clean as well as the ability to drive it a bit. Bruce is a cool dude.

Oh, and did anyone else notice how close this looks to a Herbert or Uber?

And any word on price?

NM, $1500!!! I want one.

wow! such pristine cleans! And it seems like a pretty good high/mid/low gain amp as well!! Built in decimator, really cool! Let's hope it becomes available in europe for a non inflated price compared to US -_-

That is a sweet amp. Even though it's not the most metal amp in the world, I have wanted an Egnater Rebel 20 head and cabinet since I played on a few weeks prior to Christmas. It was a great sounding rock amp with a sweet clean channel. Between the Bright/Tight voicing switch, it's variable wattage from 1 to 20 and it's tube mix knob which allows you to "dial in the rich American tones of the6V6 power tubes, the British-style bark and chime of the EL84s, or blend them for an endless variety of sounds" and it's not just marketing speak - that was one versatile amp. Egnater is making some really great sounding original stuff - I think they are really making a name for themselves in the amp industry.

I'm meh about this one. I've owned an Egnater MOD 50, Rebel, and played various modules. The Egnaters all have such a strange sounding midrange to me that can't be dialed out. I really disliked the Rebel that I owned.

I did like the EG5 module though. If this amp is anywhere close to that sound, then it might be quite good!

Thats pretty cool,
was the Rebel 20 the kind of Rock amp that could be good for metal with a boost in front of it?
