I can try and help Dan out. My stuff (first full length) is also over at last.fm for downloading. No artwork for it though. If you sign up at my website you can then download it including the artwork to print at your leisure. I also have to get with dan to get some new(er) stuff over at soundclick.com and possibly the myspace page. Dan, DAN! Get yer ass over to my place this week after I get out of work and we can work on some of this stuff! Tuesday works for me best, not sure on thursday, have to clear it with the girlfriend as she's over on thursdays thru sunday nights now.

I'd just like to update everyone with the news that thanks to the BornInBlood staff Elfbark Media and its affiliated artists now have forum located here. If there are any bands I haven’t got in touch with concerning a section please get in touch! Please join up and have a good old chin wag!

Secondly I’m on a recruitment drive to get some more bands promoted, so if any ones got some material they want promoting - for free - drop me a line; any genre/style, just as long as you own the rights to it.

Lastly I’m proud to say that EBM has topped 3000 plays and 800 listeners on Last.fm which is cool.

Last.fm has set up a royalty scheme where labels are payed when thier streamable tracks are played (this excludes tracks you play in WMP/iTunes etc). I'd like to point out that as I own the rights to some of the music on EBM - the rest I'm promoting on behalf of others - I havent signed up to this; therefore I'm not recieveing money that belongs to others. So, this raises 2 questions:

1. What do I do with the music I do own the rights to?

This is not decided yet, I'm either going to split it from EBM into seperate artist titled labels or have 2 elfbark medias - 1 for music 1 own and 1 for music im promoting.

2. Bands: We're not recieveing money when we could be!

If you'd like me to take your material down so you can manage it yourself and sign up to royalties that fine by me - its your music!

I'll keep this topic posted with whats going to happen...

I say if you own it man, collect the cash and invest it back into the label.
The other stuff, well do a 50/50 deal with the bands at least you will be generating income for the label.
