Guitar mid range i would like to work out? Any suggestions?

The vocals seem thin, they are doubled, also using maxxbass.... hm...

i havent listened to it in my car yet though, just headphones.

any advice would be super!

there's no screaming in certain parts yet because each time I went to record I wasnt feeling it. what else is new.

Is this your song / vocals? I like the composition. The recording is decent, the guitars sound a little scooped. The only other thing I can say is the snare is sitting very awkwardly in the mix, it sounds good during the break downs but the bottom / room / verb doesn't cut through during other sections and leaves the top / mid sitting above the mix, the snare looses all of it's size (Although this could be personal taste). I know what you are saying about the vocals, maybe try the CLA compressor to give the vox a bit of colour and agression, possibly try pop music vox techniques; hard panned takes, widen using a stereo imager, short delay ect. ect.)

Yeah I wrote sang recoded this. The mids are scooped on the guitars, I boosted around 375 but I usually can't stand the mid range. Ill try working w the snare more, perhaps some side chaining thanks for the advice!
