Ehh, it wasn't as good as I was expecting it to be. It sounds way too cut and paste, like I can tell, "oh Hackett wrote this part, thats Gobels riff..etc etc" It's really not that good, the intro is cool, but it really doesnt develop into anything but a lame wankfest. So yeah, it didn't suck, but it really wan't anything great. When you have such an amazing set of musicians, expectations are going to be really high, and IMO they failed to meet those. I do want to hear the whole album though.

Yeah I went ahead and downloaded that track, and honestly I don't think its all that great, I mean it is good but for a song that consists of very talented musicians it really isn't what it should be.

I was expecting something spectacular something that was going to make me go "fuck this is kick-ass" but instead I get some song that doesn't really go anywhere at least not very far that is. It just kind of remains at the same musical level the whole way through with alternating guitar solos.

One thing for sure the guitars have that Cynic focus-esque sound to them stylistically aswell at several points.
