cool for neck...used to have it in most of my guits for the neck pup, the singlecoil is awesome, as a humbucker it's good but not quite as cool as the 85 IMO, that's why I replaced it with a 85 (I still have a soloist and a strat with an sl (lukather) and s, so I don't really need the splitting and can actually go with the IMO better sounding HB sounds of the 85.


James has got the 89 in his caparisons if I'm not mistaken

ive got the 89 in the neck of my schecter, its very similar to the 85 pup, basicaly the split coil version, not really the right terms used, but you get what i mean!
