Eminence speakers...anyone?

Hello everyone,

I am about to build a 4x12 and currently have a V30 and a G12T75 on my crappy 2x12. I am thinking of getting another V30 and selling the T75 to get something else. I had Eminence Governors a while ago and i really liked them, but for some stupid reason i sold them - and i dont really remember if the recorded well.

Now theres an oportunity to get the Governors or Wizards for a very cheap price where i live. WHats your experience with them for modern rock and metal (for live and recording usage) ? How do you think that a cab with V30s and Governors (or Wizards) would work ?

Any cons of selling the T75 ?

Never had much luck recording Eminence speakers. They sound fine live but don't mic up too well.

+1 on oz's statement. just couldnt find a sweet spot for miking one of those...
