Well, for those of you who are Emperor enthusiasts, you must know that the song "Inno a Satana" from Nightside Eclipse was remade as an orchestral version which was featured on the special edition of "Anthems."
I recently had the brilliant idea (inspired by just recently acquiring a good orchestral sampler pack, for those of you who don't know, it's essentially a programmable orchestra) to remake a metal song symphonically. I figured Emperor could have that done once again, and chose a song from a more recent album - "An Elegy of Icaros," from "IX Equilibrium."
In my opinion it is the best song on the album. And it will be quite an undertaking to complete and polish, but here is a nice little one-minute sample of the orchestral version for all the Emperor lovers to enjoy:

As you can hear it combines the original basis of the track while new original material is added (just like Inno a Satana's symphonic brother Opus a Satana). There are also 2 other tracks right below there that may be of interest to metalheads.
(Ignore the beatboxing - that was years ago! I'm much better now and have a less high-pitched voice!)
Enjoy and give me your thoughts! This is a work-in-progress that I hope to complete soon! Doing it all by ear is tough though....
