Emperor's New Album

yeah this album is really a MASTERPIECE, one of the best albums I ever heard! and i love The Wordless Chamber, it's a fantastic song, as well as the others!! Emperor was, is and will always be one of my favorite bands.

Promethus did not take me long at all to get used to it has a lot of the same vibes as Anthems... and IX Equilibrium. Emperor defintity goes out on a big bang with this album but I could not call it their best because I think all of their albums are equal. But my favorite Emperor track of all time is off of Promethus and that would be In the Wordless Chamber I love everything about that track especialy the keyboards and his vocals and it has the coolest ending with the guitars and everything.

know how spell it...). Those trheatenig horn like sounds and lyrics make it even realer...

Yeah, In The Wordless Chamber has incredible atmosphere, but so does Tongue Of Fire and He Who Sought The Fire. It's also a great album to get drunk to...the song is Empty, and so is my bottle! The song is Depraved, and so am I!

Hey. I just wanted to reply to AC's borrowing thing. I think that it is quite impossible these days to write any music without "borrowing" accidently from someone else. Think about it, music has been around for a long long time. It is not possible to create a progression of notes that is completely original. It was probably done hundreds of years ago for all we know. You may be able to add wild drums and powerful vocals to it, but its still all been done before. I think any of Emperor's "borrowing" was completely unintentional. They sell enough albums, they don't need to gank Morbid Angel riffs to gain appeal.

Anyone else think its a funny coinsidence that AC also stands for Anal Cunt? (Just kidding dude, I respect the power of your opinions, but never agree with you.)
