End Of The Year...where?

I'm thinking to spend some days of holiday in a European big city at the end of the year (from Dec. 29th to Jan 3rd 2003).I'd like to have from you some suggestions.I'm searching for a metal city.I thought to Copenhagen,Munich,Madrid,Barcelona,Bruxelles...
Are you organizing any metal party?....ok,help me....tell me about your past experiences....

Germany or Sweden would have to be my choices. Mind you London is looking pretty good this year, with bands like Dark Tranquillity, Anathema and a huge line up of death and black metal at No Mercy Fest 2002. But number one would be Germany I'd say.

I've been to Copenhagen some years ago,wonderful city I think....and if I'm not mistaking I've been to TEX.Is it a narrow rock-pub with a small room for concerts at the end of it?
I watched an Iron Maiden's coverband....

You could always try Italy. Roma is a good spot. Stormlord plays there all the time. Also a ton of bands are coming to Italy.
