The passage where Jonas sings isn't printed in the booklet, is it?
What does he ( I think it's Jonas and not Mike) exactely say?

The quote is

"It turns out, for some people, solitude and isolation can of itself become a problem"
"Not for me."

but I don't think that's what ether meant. There is a bit that is cleanly sung. My transcription is "When the day is done/gone, there's no wish to sleep" but that might be wrong.

That's it!
I think your transcription is correct, I also thought of the same words. Thanks also for the quotation from the film "The Shining".
Now I wonder if there is a particular reason why the clean vox part hasn't been printed in the booklet. Perhaps another quotation?

Nope, you got the beginning wrong. The interviewer doesn't say, 'It turns out'. He says, 'Because eh'.

"Because, eh, for some people, solitude and isolation can of itself become a problem."

Then Jack replies, 'Not for me'.
