ENGL Powerball test

Hey,

This is for one of my music production pieces and I just miked up my friends Engl Powerball today. We used a E906 and an SM57, very pleased with the results. Very dark sounding, not the sound I would be after for my band, but i feel it fits the piece.

Love to know what people think....apart from the snare is too loud!

Thanks man. Yeah, i rushed the drums, we were tracking that day and the drummer was coming in at a later date so i threw that together quickly.

Has a cool Filth Pig, or Therapy? vibe to it. Not the tone, but the riff. The tone is bitchin. I would like to hear some GHUN, GHUN, but I guess we'll get that on the new Chimaira album. Cool forum too (Bare Nuckle Pickups).
